The American International Matchbox Club (A.I.M.) sought permission from Lesney products in New Jersey, U.S.A. for permission to use the Y5 Talbot van as a means of promoting their Second Annual Convention. This Convention was held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on the 27th & 28th May 1978. A quantity of stripped down Liptons Tea Talbot vans were sent to the U.S.A. where non-Lesney labels were attached and distributed to club members.

Livery: (Label) - '2ND ANNUAL A.I.M. INC. CONVENTION TOY SHOW HARRISBURG P.A. MAY 27TH 1978' in gold printing on clear adhesive label on both sides of van panel.

Other Comments/Identifying Features: The model has no opening parts other than the rear doors which are painted in the body colour, dark green. The vehicle roof is matt black, the seats are black plastic, and the tool box lid is brass coloured. There is no glazing. This item could be of any one of five A or B castings but is most likely to be an A-2 casting, given the woodgrain box.
The base plate is held in place by three machined rivets.
